No team in Ligue 1 history has ever dominated French Football like Olympique Lyon did in the 2000’s. For 7 years straight, Les Gones had the league in a stranglehold, beating all in their path while producing some of the finest footballers in footballing history. From Benzema and Juninho, to Ben Arfa and Sidney Govou, Lyon built one of the most competitive sides in Europe. And it was all thanks to one man….

The Lyon 8 year run was absolutely crazy, even better than this PSG run. They've been unlucky in Europe, but my dream is that somehow, someway, they get back to the top of the mountain, where they belong. True football royalty ❤

Great Video !!!! but as a Lyon fan I have to say that you missed the biggest scandal for the fan in UCL lol ( PSV Eindhoven – Lyon 2004/2005 and the penalty on Nilmar not whistled that could led to a semi finale with one of our best Team) biggest regret !!!

Great video! I remember this Olympique Lyonnais team very well. A great team with excellent players. As a PSV fan, I was in the stadium in the QF of the CL. Absolute magic and I couldn’t believe we knocked out Lyonnais. I always fancied Lyonnais to win the CL in those years.

That win in Ibrox was Benzema's best performance in a Lyon shirt 👏🏾

Outstanding video but just to nick pick few key moments are missing like Lloris' save vs Bordeaux but understandable.

Strange to see some historic clubs stuck in Ligue 2 but 3 wins in a row before the winter break is a huge relief.

What a video Lyes, as a Lyon fan who started to support them recently where they haven't been good this was super nice to see and gives me hope that one day Lyon can be consistent contenders at the top of French football. Oh and Grosso was attacked by Marseille ultras before his sacking.
