MAN UTD 1-0 LYON | Van De Beek WONDER GOAL, Kovar Superb: Onana's Back Up? Mainoo & Gore đŸ”„

Donny van de Beek’s wonder volley was enough for Manchester United to beat Lyon and what a goal it was, with Van de Beek visibly emotional after a long recovery after injury.

Matej Kovar played the full 90 minutes and Erik ten Hag clearly has his eye on him but it was another controlled performance, another win and plenty of positives to take!

What do you think is the standout talking point and who was your man of the match?

What a goal from Donny! Buzzing for him. Kovar was MOTM for me, really looking like he could be our No.2 this season. What's your thoughts on the game? 2 wins, 2 clean sheets, happy days.

Last season the team's problem was not putting away our many chances,it can't afford to continue to do the same this season as well that's why we need a striker who can put away most of his chances if not the team will continue to play catchup.

Bro,we need amrabat for some muscles in our midfield and Gonzalo Ramos for scoring ! Koobi and amad are for next year ! Bro, premier League and ch.league are really tough and rough games !!!!! Young players Can't hold the year !!!! We need crack players, bro, trust me ! And pre-season games are not the Real fact !

In fact, I do think that United could consider using up all those young players instead of investing in new pricey ones. We can foster new young talents without wasting too much cash on the window.
If keeping buying new players, there'll be no room for advancements from talents to be formed.

DvB should in my opinion go again this year, its all or nothing. The team is coming together compared to last practical setup that didnt suit Donny at all. Donny is the type of player that makes a team better when the team suits him, and this year if he gets the chance, is his only chance to make it work.

Kovar is such a mature player, so calm… Perfect down to earth guy we should have as number 2 instead of buying Suzuki… Although Suzuki is really talented and probably had a higher potential than kovar.
