⚫️🔵🔴 Noir, bleu et rouge. Summer truly is a wonderful time of the year as we get treated to new shirt designs every couple of days. Once again Adidas have knocked it out of the park for the Olympique Lyonnais away jersey. A black base is brought to life by the clever use of the club’s home colours of blue, white and red. The stand out feature of the design is seen in that sleek base which is embossed with Lyon’s logo throughout. The modern design sports alternate red and blue colours to the iconic three stripes down the shoulders, with the side panels following suit. The kit is completed with a simple v-neck collar, with a white stripe running around the reverse. The club crest and Adidas logo are stitched while the Fly Emirates logo follows the monochrome theme. The back of the shirt does not feature the embossed finish but the material does feel different almost ribbed when compared to the front. Adidas have included a nice detail inside the neckline just above the size details where the OL logo proudly sits. Lyon will hope to get off to a better start this season, last year saw the French giants in a relegation scrap before a revival saw them avoid the drop and reach the Coupe de France final.
