I think he got involved with botafogo just when they got promoted from the second division in 2021. Amazing job he's been doing with the club here. Think as botafogo is the brazilian Everton. Rich history, not much national success, none international, sticks around the first division (but recently botafogo had been flirting with staying in the second division for a while). They have one brazilian championship, from 1995, and have barely had any success at all after that, so its really amazing the reconstruction that's being done.

As a lyon fan its hard seeing them doing this bad. Its shambolic. Lyon are going down everyone said the same about how Leicester couldn't go down because of the squad they had but the financial problems and bad atmosphere around the club was too much and they went down unlike with Leicester though a relegation for Lyon would be a disaster and they'd probably enter a free fall.
